What a great hidden gem! BarBRILL is the best whisky bar in Asakusa! With a wide selection of Scotch, Bourbon, Rum there is something that will surely match your mood and pair with a cigar! You can purchase a cigar from Hideo (must be smoked while there) or bring your own.

The space is quaint and intimate. Great atmosphere for a date night. My husband and I loved it so much we visited 3 times during our 8 night stay in Asakusa. Location was convenient as it was only a 8 minute walk from our hotel. It is quite hidden and not located in the busy and touristy part of Asakusa.

Overall we 10/10 highly recommend Hideo and BarBRILL while visiting Asakusa or being a regular if you’re a local.

A BarBRILL is a truly amazing Cigar bar. A warm and welcoming ambience just off the beaten path of the busier parts of Asakusa. I happened upon this place after dinner and could not have been happier. The cocktail I enjoyed along with a great conversation with Hideo, the bartender and proprietor hit the spot. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxed, serene environment and good drinks.

After 13000 km we reached Japan , this was the first cigar bar we entered (we visited many cigar bars in Tokyo, Kyoto,Osaka) this was the worst . The place itself is cozy , remote and has a nice atmospehere but the problem was the bartender who seemed to be bothered by our presence , he had an unfriendly attitude . Atmosphere was tense , for some reason he tought we are russians . When a pair of japanese customers entered the bar the bartenders attitude changed drastically .Prices seemed fair ,this was the only CIGAR bar that we visited in Japan where you could not buy cigars (we had our own), Service tax 1000 for which you get 5-6 peanuts if you are a foreigner and spanish ham if you are japanese . As a foreigner , I most certainly do not recommend this place . There are other place is Tokyo with much friendlier staff .

Hideo is an amazing and friendly bartender and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. Fantastic selection of liquor and cigars. Highly recommended!
